In 1979, as a young man, Wayne asked his father - J.J. Volz Sr. - for a bicycle. So his Dad bought him a 22” push mower, electric weed-eater, and push broom so that Wayne could earn the money he needed to buy myself the bike.


In June of 1987, Wayne made this business his full time job. Since then it has been a small, family owned business located in Buechel in Louisville, KY that grew from 9 accounts to being recognized as a Top 10 Small Business in the nation by Landscape Management Magazine, Best of Kentuckiana, and voted Neighborhood Favorite by Nextdoor users. We are also an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating.
